Privacy & store data

Information used by prAIcing

prAIcing uses your account information, pricing settings, connected-store address, product catalogue, product costs, stock levels, and aggregated product sales to provide pricing tests and store tools. Store access credentials are encrypted and used on the server, not returned to the browser. Subscription records link your account to the relevant billing provider.

Shopper tests and orders

The storefront integration assigns a shopper to a price-test group using first-party browser storage. It records product-page visits and reads order line items to attribute purchases to the control or test variant. The application retains product/day sales aggregates and test-arm totals rather than customer contact details or individual order identifiers in those sales datasets.

Chat and service providers

Messages you send to the pricing agent are saved with your account and store context. The conversation and relevant store information may be processed by the AI service to answer your request. Do not send customer personal information, passwords, or payment-card details in chat. Hosting, account access, AI processing, and billing services process information needed to deliver the service. Shopify-connected plans use Shopify billing; other plans may use Stripe.

Disconnecting and uninstalling

Disconnecting removes the active store access and its cached store data. Shopify uninstall notifications stop that shop's running tests and scheduled promotions and remove its active and parked credentials, cached products, sales, and price history. The later Shopify shop-redaction request removes remaining shop tests and their statistics. Other connected stores and your prAIcing account are not deleted by one store's uninstall.

Shopify revokes access on uninstall, so hidden test copies may require manual removal in Shopify. Account messages, settings, support communications, and infrastructure logs are separate from shop-redaction cleanup and may require a separate deletion request.

Shopify privacy requests

Shopify privacy and uninstall notifications are verified against their signatures before processing. Processing receipts retain the event identifier, topic, a hash of the shop address, and processing time, not the submitted customer contact details. Customer requests are acknowledged; this acknowledgement is not itself a personal-data export.

Requests and contact

Use the support contact provided in the prAIcing Shopify app listing for requests to access, correct, or delete your account information. Identify the account and connected store, but do not send passwords or store access keys.

The operator's legal identity, direct privacy contact, retention periods for account records and logs, and applicable service-provider details are being finalized before public Shopify distribution. This page describes the current data handling; it is not a claim of completed legal review.
